I've always been fascinated by hands. I still remember my grandfather's hands when I was a kid—how he'd grab mine as we walked down the street. His grip felt so strong that I thought I'd never be able to pull away, which made me feel really safe. Later on, I realized his hands were actually pretty small but solid.
That memory came back to me when I saw the Fritz Lang’s poster for M, with a big hand on the cover that perfectly captured the vibe of the movie.
Since then, I've noticed that a lot of filmmakers and artists seem to have a similar thing for hands.
